Getting Ready For Halloween

The pumpkin has landed and is great fun to roll. Later on Mom cut out some bits and made a not-sooo-scary pumpkin face out of it. (I'll show you later) The usual trick-or-treat suspects are bound to knock on our door soon. Will they ask for coke and a straw again? Mom, I am sure, will get some and a large bag of crisps while Dad will certainly remove, erm, pigeon's feaces stuck to the front door, won't he? Meanwhile I am cleaning the house.

What else? If the weather permits we go out for a walk or even make it to the seaside. Every time I see the sea I think it is the first time that I see the sea and I am as impressed as I was when I saw it for the first time... I am easily amazed which is always fun. Just like my Dad (for your record: he is sclerotic)

If the weather is not so good, which is by the way the default condition, I stay at home and try to drive Mom nuts. Not that difficult as you could think it is. Well, I guess I am not the same sweet smily little girl you used to know. Now, I am bad (but only if it rains).

Once the day is almost over we throw a party, BYOB style (i.e.: Bring Your Own Bottle) As Homer Simpson once said: Drink it - not drinking gonna make it hurt!

Oh, yes, the pumkin, I'd forget, here we go:

And the last but not the least: my little cousin Adam was born last weekend (happy birthday Adam and well done everyone involved:) I feel so old now...
